NOW HIRING
Certified Nursing Assistants are needed immediately to care for our patients/clients in Waukesha County and surrounding communities. All shifts. Flexible schedules. Compensation- DOE (Depends on experience).  Will consider students currently enrolled in an accredited RN program.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides various personal care services in accordance with an established nursing care plan. Promotes the highest level of well-being and independence for our patients in the comfort of their own home.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs personal care activities as outlined in the Nursing care plan. Duties include, but are not limited to: 
  • Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin and hair)
  • Dressing
  • Ambulation- (use of DME and transfer equipment when necessary)
  • Assist with meals/nutrition
  • Medication reminders
  • Reinforcement of dressings
  • Assisting with the change of ostomy appliances
  • Care of urinary catheters
  • Continence care
  • Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
  • Taking vital signs as needed
  • Daily weights, I/O prn
  • Hospice assistance
  • Alzheimer’s/Dementia care
  • Light housekeeping
  • Incidental transportation- doctor appointments, shopping, etc.
  • Collaboration of care with other team members involved in care
  • Assess and appropriately report any concerns related to patient/client status
CANDIDATE REQUIRMENTS:
  • CNA or currently enrolled in an accredited RN Program
  • Able to pass a thorough background check
  • Reliable vehicle with current, valid auto insurance
  • Current driver's license
  • Preferably at least 6 months experience
