Job Description:

Are you looking to work on the west side of Madison? Opportunity looking to start ASAP!

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will create and maintain the master schedule, find staff to cover openings, offer overtime and schedule trades when authorized, post changes to the schedule as needed, identify staffing needs and work with human resources to fill positions, keep supervisors in the loop of potential corrective action that needs to be taken, review payroll print outs and watch for discrepancies, create reports to track scheduling adjustments, provide staff education related to computerized scheduling systems, and assist with additional duties as needed.

Process staff requests for vacation, leave of absences, switches, FMLA, etc.
Schedule new hire orientations
Monitor attendance and track tardiness

Job Requirements:

Must have 1-2 years of reception or administrative experience
Scheduling experience is strongly preferred
Previous experience within the medical industry is strongly preferred
Experience as a CNA or resident care provider is strongly preferred
A certificate or Associate’s degree in medical administration, medical assistant, or administrative coursework is preferred
Must be proficient in Excel
Must have strong communication skills
Must be organized with strong attention to detail
Must work well in a team environment

Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Pay for the Scheduling Assistant position: $15.00 - $17.00 / hr.
